OUR STORY
Hello! I’m Jade - the owner of Honey Garden Studio; a deliciously sweet business located on Bundjalung and Yugambeh land. My big, scary, exciting dream is to help anxious humans come home to their true selves & live radiant, connected, joy-filled & purposeful lives!
In 2023, I had an idea to create a deck of beautiful, kinda’ sassy, but thoughtfully designed affirmations cards.
While writing the affirmations, I thought a lot about my younger self. I also thought about my best pal, my friends and my two girls.
And what I want for them and you - is to know that your dreams matter.
I spent most of my 20’s concerned about what others thought of me. I often doubted myself and my abilities and would get stuck in comparison. I’d focus on my flaws, struggled with anxiety, and at times felt completely lost about my direction in life. Sometimes I’d get so caught up in the busyness of life that months would pass before I’d stop to pause and think - Is this what I actually want in life? Maybe you can relate?
The I am Radiant as F**k! Affirmation Deck was created for anyone ready to switch the narrative and start thinking kinder thoughts. They are reminders to be yourself and keep dreaming those big dreams of yours! The world needs who you are. You’ve got this.
A little more about me: I’m half Filipino, I haven’t changed hairstyles since I was in grade 7 lol, I’m a 4/6 line Mani Gen in Human Design, watercolour painting brings me so much joy, I believe in magic, and I have no idea wtf I’m doing - but this feels right & true.
Why Affirmations?
I truly believe that words, especially those we speak to ourselves, have the power to change our lives.
When you believe in yourself, you start dreaming about what your life could be. You start taking action; meeting new people, researching, studying and creating new habits. Sometimes all it takes is a fleeting moment of self-belief to change the trajectory of your life. That’s the power of affirmations.
